Jack Lausch, currently a senior at Brother Rice High School, recently committed to playing football and baseball at Northwestern University. The decision to attend Northwestern is recent, as until December 13, 2021, he was scheduled to join the football team and play for the University of Notre Dame baseball team. Instead, a scholarship offer and an opportunity to compete locally brought Lausch to Evanston.
