We stayed 3 nights in a "VC" apartment, in August. It had been recently renovated, and was easily the nicest apartment or guest house we stayed in in 15 days in Croatia. Only one of those nights was hot enough where it would have been nice to have air conditioning, or at least a ceiling fan, in the apartment. Most people dress at night, and for activities like yoga, Zumba, etc. A pareo is the most practical item of clothing you could bring for the daytime; restaurant clothes for the night. The whole atmosphere of Valalta is really amazing- almost everyone was part of a multi-generational family- most have been coming here for years and years, staying in semi-permanent camp sites.
