I am SO excited to announce that we will be starting this exciting new series – Mom Boss! I will be interviewing Mom Bosses and sharing them with you every week. A lot of these mom’s have been a huge part of my business growth, whether it be their friendship, their encouragement, their collaboration or their inspiration.
The first Mom Boss I’d love to share with you, quickly has become my friend as we collaborated on the box for my soft launch of Buccio Baby Box. She made the super cute onesies that we included in our first box!
I am pleased to introduce to you, Jessica Dunkle | Mom Boss
Why did you start your shop?
I started my Etsy store in August 2011. It was after a very rough pregnancy and the birth of our second son in March 2011. Prior to getting pregnant, I worked full time outside the home but after being put on bed rest in November 2010 I knew there were big changes ahead.
What inspired you?
I love the opportunity Etsy has provided me to stay home with my three amazing boys! They are the reason I create. Staying home with them is my drive. They give me the push each day to be better. To do great things and to enjoy every moment of life.
What would you tell other female entrepreneurs?
Just do it! So much of my time was spent on wondering what would go wrong. I wish I had started sooner and had more confidence in myself. I still struggle with this sometimes but I more likely just to try something. If it doesn’t work, I move onto the next thing with a little more knowledge in my pocket.
What is coming up for your business? New and exciting products? Changes?
I am working with a children’s boutique in town in the next few months. I also plan to release some big brother / big sister announcement shirts shortly so keep an eye out for those!
Where can people purchase your products?
